About Bound For Glory Productions
At Bound for Glory Productions, storytelling is our passion. BFG Productions is a video production and media production company based out of Tulsa, OK that is committed to providing clients with the highest in quality video, photo and design production, at an affordable rate. BFG Productions began when singer-songwriter and video director, Dante Schmitz, collaborated with fellow singer-songwriter and video producer, Nick Whitaker, to make some music videos for bands they had come to know from their work in the music industry. Dante and Nick immediately noticed something about their collaborative efforts that was unique. When joining forces, they were able to produce better quality productions, and in less time. Much like playing in a band, with any creative endeavor, it’s important to have chemistry. As a team, Dante & Nick found that creative balance and the new company was born.
BFG Productions focuses mostly on commercial video production for online and social media marketing. However, we also offer services in professional photography, graphic design, and web design. If you’re a company and you need to get noticed or want to build your online presence, we can help you do that. Some clients come to us with very specific ideas about what they want to say and how they want to say it. Other clients might know their business very well, but need help putting their message into a sound bite that will resonate with their customers. Nick Whitaker
Videographer, Photographer, Editor, Graphic Designer
Nick started his creative endeavors as a singer-songwriter, producer, and audio engineer. As an artist, he was constantly discovering new areas in media to be creative. Nick now has ten years of experience in the media arts, from concept to production, across a variety of platforms. This includes significant experience in graphic design, still photography, music and video production and editing, and web design. He's designed, wrote, and produced dozens of print advertisements for regional and national publications. As Marketing Lead for a large local e-commerce company and as a freelancer, Nick has strategically used his skillset to help businesses develop their brands to compete at the next level.
Dante Schmitz
Director, Producer, Videographer, Editor
Initially, Dante began producing videos strictly out of a passion for film and a desire to find new ways to be creative, but this new found medium quickly turned into a creative business. Dante worked as a professional musician for over ten years. After writing, recording, touring, and releasing several albums, it was refreshing for him to find a new medium to pour his creative heart into. For Dante, there is nothing better than to see the look of pride and excitement on a client’s face when they get to see their company or organization represented in a high quality production. Dante studied public relations at the University of Oklahoma and his videos have won several international video competitions.
